Aram Sinnreich: Ja sam glazbenik, spisatelj i profesor.
Reggae hr: Svoj prvi album "Fuel for the Fire", stavili ste na besplatno preuzimanje.
Reggae hr: "Fuel for the Fire",snimili ste u Orange Studiju od Billa Laswella.

Reggae hr: Who is Aram Sinnreich and what he does?
Aram Sinnreich: I am a musician, book author and professor. I am from New York City and I work at American University in Washington, DC.
Reggae hr: A few days ago you were in Zadar at the conference Libraries in Digital Age, what was it all about?
Aram Sinnreich: I was talking about the important role that libraries will play in the digital age, making sure that everyone has access to knowledge, and the skills to participate in digital culture and society on equal terms.
Reggae hr: Three years ago, you wrote a book "The Piracy Crusade. Are the circumstances improved or worsened in the last three years?
Aram Sinnreich: You can download it for free and read it yourself, at www.piracycrusade.com.
Reggae hr: With a few others have and Dubistry, band that combines reggae / jazz / breakbeat and punk. What attracted you to the reggae sound?
Aram Sinnreich: I always loved the reggae sound because it is dialogical (the «skank» responds to the downbeat) and because the groove is universal. I didn't play reggae music until I met my future wife. She hired me to play the bass and I joined her band because she was beautiful and also a great performer and songwriter.
Reggae hr: Your first album, "Fuel for the Fire" put you to a free download. Why?
Aram Sinnreich: We decided to make the album free to download because it's important for us to make the music available to everybody. In the internet age, power comes from ubiquity, not from restricted access.
Reggae hr: The "Fuel for the Fire" is recorded at Bill Laswell's Orange Studio. Why did you choose this studio?
Aram Sinnreich: Because it's a great space acoustically, it’s very comfortable, and because we love the engineer James Dellatacoma who works there.
Reggae hr: Can we expect Dubistry new material?
Aram Sinnreich: Yes, absolutely. Dubistry has a big catalog, and we can't wait to get back into the studio.
